Ted Troutman, bankruptcy attorney, graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark's Northwest School of Law. He is a two-time recipient of the Lawyers' Cooperative Publishing Jurisprudence Award, given to exemplary law students. As a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Mr. Troutman stays well versed in aspects of his field. Additionally, he is a member of the Oregon State Bar and a former member of Oregon Trial Lawyers Association.

Phillip Muir, bankruptcy attorney, is a graduate of the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

He is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Washington County Bar Association, and the Oregon State Bar Real Estate Section.

After serving 10 years in the U.S. Navy, Legal Assistant Lawerence “Rusty” Jacobson graduated from Portland State University with high honors. Before joining Muir & Troutman, Rusty worked for the district Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee of Oregon.

For the past 9 years Lisette Barajas has been actively working in the field of law. She is Muir & Troutman’s Chapter 7, 11 and 12 Legal Assistant.

In 2008 Alyssa Nelson began working part time for Muir & Troutman while attending Oregon State University. After graduating college in 2011, she is now working full time assisting with Chapter 13 Bankruptcy cases.
